MFT October Release Countdown Day 1

One more day till My Favorite Things October Release! All new products
will go on sale Tuesday at 10PM EST. Have you got your wish lists ready?

Today I'm sharing two cards using Snowflake Flurry--a set of beautiful snowflakes
that have matching Die-namics, sold separately.

On the first card, I white embossed several snowflakes and the sentiment
then ink distressed with several shades of dye inks and spattered some water
over the surface. When it was dry, I used the rectangle element from
Blueprints 25 and cut out a panel.

I used a smaller rectangle die and cut into the design, off center.
The larger piece was adhered to a card base, and the center piece
was popped up with dimensional adhesive. A few sequins finished off the card.

On the second card, I white embossed snowflakes in the center
of a watercolor card, then ink distressed and water spattered the surface.
The card was cut with the rectangle element from Blueprints 24.

I white embossed the sentiment on a strip of vellum and folded the ends
under the ink distressed panel and popped it up on a card base.
The card was also finished off with sequins.

Visit the MFT blog for more inspiration from the other designers
and don't forget to leave a comment there on today's countdown post.
And stop by tomorrow for the New Product Launch!
