Harvest of Blessings

Just popping in to share a card that I made with MFT's Layered Leaves.
They were out of stock for a while and when I finally got my hands on them,
it was just in time for an autumnal card.

I brushed several colors of Peerless watercolors on watercolor card stock
and after it was dried, I die cut several sizes of leaves and spattered them
with white ink. Kraft card stock was stamped with the wood plank stamp in
Versamark ink then cut with the rectangle element from Blueprints 25.

The panel was adhered to a kraft card base and I adhered the leaves with glue dots.
For a bit of interest, I popped out some leaf segments and left some intact.
The sentiment is from Harvest Mouse and a few enamel dots finished off the card.

I started off thinking about making a wreath after seeing the awesome
Virginia Lu's wreath here, but went with a...you guessed it...deconstructed one!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  4. Gorgeous card...love teh way the leaves stand out against the base and the dimension with the adhesive. BTW I noticed that these dies have pieces that come out. What is your trick to make sure the leaves stay intact? jeandonny2000 at hotmail dot com
