MFT July Ingenious Inking--Resistance is Futile

For this month's Ingenious Inking, the design team was challenged to use
different methods and formulas of ink to create resist on our cards and projects.
Here's my project using Peerless Watercolors on an embossed background.

I was totally inspired by this card from Karin. I white embossed Balloon Strings
Background on watercolor paper, then brushed water across the surface.

I picked up different colors from the Peerless swatches with a waterbrush
and painted in the different areas. The embossing not only resists the ink,
but forms a barrier that keeps the color within the embossed lines.

I chose a birthday sentiment since we're still celebrating MFT's 9th birthday,
and finished off the card with a few enamel dots.

Stop by the MFT blog to see the other designers who took on the resist challenge.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
