AEI♥U Challenge #4--WATER COLOR

There were so many wonderful entries in our last challenge--ombré--and we can't wait
to have you join AEI♥U Challenge #4--WATER COLOR.

Water coloring is such a hot technique and trend right now and there are so many inks
and mediums on the market. And it's just plain fun to get inky!

Here's my card using a technique that Heather Campbell shared here
in the Ellen Hutson Classroom.

Instead of the Distress markers that Heather used on her card, I opted for Distress inkpads.
The flowers are from Avery Elle's Laurels set, stamped in two parts
and spritzed with some water before stamping.

The sentiment is from All Squared Up, and I added a single gemstone for a bit of bling.

Remember to use at least one Avery Elle stamp on your project and
if you don't own any, grab a free digital image here.
The prize is an Avery Elle stamp set of your choice, and you have until
Sunday, April 13th to link up your card(s).

Hope to see you in the Gallery!

  1. Love your bright watercolor image flowers, Donna. Beautiful card. (I had that Picked Raspberry in my hands at Joann's yesterday and put it back on the shelf. I should have bought it).

  3. Donna, Donna, LOVE how your flowers are so vibrant, yet watercolor-y. The two normally don't happen together, so seeing them here is really special. Your neutral flower is also a great addition to balance the showier ones. Another example of Donna's Delightful Designing! (if you want to take that for your new blog name or maybe a line of stamps, I won't mind a bit, hahaha!!)
