A Valentine Banner

I thoroughly enjoyed Clean and Simple Card Making 2 and it's not just because
I was a guest designer. I'm loving a more CAS approach to card making
and this session was so comfortable and stress free.
And I actually looked forward to homework!

Day 9 was about adding texture to your cards. I used Papertrey Ink's
woodgrain impression plate as the base for the washi tape Valentine banner.

Since there's already a sentiment on one of the pennants,
I didn't think one was necessary and let the banner speak for itself.
I even managed to punch out a heart this time.

And just under the wire, I'll be entering Play Date Cafe's Challenge #168
since I see some Cranberry, Raspberry, and Petal on those pennants.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great week!

  7. Donna, this is beautiful! Woodgrain is my weakness, and using it as the back-drop to your banners was perfect! Thank you for playing along with The Play Date Cafe!

  8. Donna, the colors on these banners are so amazing together, what a great range of hues!! I think it's the touch of melon that really does it for me. Perfectly CAS design!
