CFC67--Banners and Flags

Challenge #67 at CASual Fridays is to create a clean and simple project featuring banners or flags. Here's my card.

I used Neat and Tangled's Just Hello set and stamped the little envelope on some Amy Tangerine papers. I threaded them on a bit of jute and attached them to kraft cardstock that was stamped with a mesh background stamp. The handwritten sentiment is also from the same set.

I know it's an unusual banner, but it sorta reminds me of how folks would string their Christmas cards over their mantle. Did your family do that? We didn't. We didn't have a mantle...or a chimney.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a fantastic week!

  3. Yes, you are the master of the banner (although I honestly think you can master ANYthing!)! I love the letters strung together...so clever! I know families who have done this with their holiday cards, but we never did because of the volume of cards we received (large family)...we put them in a wooden sleigh instead!
