Wish you were here

Hello, there! Have your legs recovered from all the hopping last week? Don't forget to visit Hero Arts and see if you were one of the lucky winners from the 5-day blog hop.

I made a quick card with the Newspaper Skyline stamp. My original plan was to create a Polaroid, but I would have trimmed off too much of the skyline, so it's a "faux Polaroid".

The stamp was clear embossed and I ink distressed with Pine Needles, Evergreen Bough, and Rusty Hinge distress inks. I flicked some water to mimic a starry sky and stamped the sentiment from Wish You Were Here.

The sentiment was stamped with Hero Arts' new Mid Tone Shadow Ink in Wet Cement. I've always wanted a nice gray ink and the new ink is the perfect shade. Love the new mid tones!

Thanks so much for visiting today. Have a great week!

Donna, this is a wonderful "Polaroid" of the cityscape! I love the effect of the splatter of water, too. I have already ordered the Wet Cement midtone ink, I loved it the minute I saw it! Looks great on this card, too!
