Card drives

While going through my Dashboard a few nights ago, I saw a post here requesting cards for a little boy named Daan who has an inoperable brain tumor. Couldn't ignore that!

I had some Mer Ian digi images printed out so I colored one and quickly put together this card. I enclosed a few stickers to cheer him up as he's going through radiation therapy. Cancer sucks.

I'm happy to report that this card is on its way to The Netherlands...

Here are more cards for Taylored Expressions' Dragonfly card drive. These were quick to make because I just clear embossed some dragonflies on white cardstock, sponged on distress inks and water splotched them. After they were dry, I stamped the quote and layered them onto Nestie shapes. Quick to mass produce and they're in the mail, too.

And lastly, Jennifer McGuire has added a couple of kids to her list who could use some cheer. Please visit her blog and meet the brave kids who would love to receive a handmade card--their families, too!
